Lasers and Optimists
At the Riverton Yacht Club there is a junior sailing program. This program is made up of a group of junior sailors that sail either Optimist Prams or Laser Radials. Every Monday Night there are a couple of races. The amount depends on the number of sailors and on the wind. Any member is invited to borrow a boat for this series. We also host a MAYRA regatta, June 19th and 20th. There are a couple of sailors who travel to regattas representing Riverton Yaught Club. They sail in MAYRA, CBYRA, and Nationally.
