Lasers and Optimists
At the Riverton Yacht Club there is a junior sailing program. This program is made up of a group of junior sailors that sail either Optimist Prams or Lasers and Laser Radials. Every Monday Night there are several races. The amount depends on the number of sailors and on the wind. Any member is invited to borrow a boat for this series. We also host a MAYRA regatta in June. There are a couple of sailors who travel to regattas representing Riverton Yacht Club. They sail in MAYRA, CBYRA, and Nationally.
